Slater Baker welcomes Naomi Eisenstadt

Slater Baker is pleased to announce that Naomi Eisenstadt has joined their list of speakers and is available for bookings from January 2010.
Naomi Eisenstadt has a long history of working in social policy, mainly in Children’s Services.

Whilst Director of Sure Start, Naomi was responsible for the successful roll out of the programme which included Government policy and delivery on services for young children, extended schools and parenting policy - reaching thousands of children.

During her term as Secretary of State’s Chief Advisor on Children’s Services, Naomi advised Ministers across the full range of “Every Child Matters” policy, and developed new approaches to the improvement of front line children’s services.

More recently in her role as Director of Social Exclusion Task Force Naomi has coordinated social exclusion policy across government, and was responsible for overseeing delivery of the “Social Exclusion Action Plan” and the first ever Public Service Agreement aimed to support the most disadvantaged groups in society.

Naomi’s current positions include: Non Executive Director, Milton Keynes Primary Care Trust, Visiting Scholar, Columbia Population Research Centre, Columbia University & Senior Research Fellow, Oxford University (from January 2010)
